i'm just going to go on the record and say that this could quite possibly be the slowest build thread ever, and it will basically start out as a goodies thread to show what i have to work with until i have the space to tear into it like a weed whacker tears into that grass around your tree...

well, been a while since i've been here, but the project hasn't progressed anywhere other than being moved to my house and stored in a shed, the project kinda got put on hold due to life and financial matters getting in the way, however, i hope to be digging into it this spring, relatively soon...

perhaps i should do a fiberglass overlay of the spoiler then and use that instead then

good to know that it's basically a non streetable engine, and being that it would need a rebuild, you guys just saved me 1200 bucks, LOL if i bought i probably would have found that out the hard way

i have a guy who's offered to sell me a 60 over 340 with 13 and a half to 1 pistons....... good idea? bad idea? and why?

it has the numbers matching engine block, but unfortunately, the X heads are unaccounted for, either the guy sold them and then sold me the car, or the previous owner before him sold them, instead i have a pair of J heads, which according to the previous owner of the car, are the "original"...

as far as i know, all the aftemarket body parts, or most of them at least, are direct connection, so that would be the fiberglass hood and fenders, and the spoiler, as well as the front spoiler? (well, what's left of it anyway, the guy had his dog on a leash and it got wrapped around the spoiler...

it's in a needs to be restored state, and as far as i know, canada was still imperial in 1970, so i believe it's in MPH, i'll take a look when i become a bit lass lazy to look and see if i have floor mats LOL, and as far as i know, the car was sold as a rapid transit edition and ran a 13.98 at...

so here's the deal, as stated in the title, it's 2am, i can't sleep, and curiosity has gotten the better of me once again, so what i'm going to do, is ask if anybody can help me decode the fender tag on my 1970 duster, the tag is as follows any help is appreciated N41 R11 V6X V8X Y07 EN2 EV2...

posted this on my facebook for all to see, that's some really heavy stuff, i was in an accident the day after i got my license.....i rearended an old lady, did 5000 dollars in damage to her car, thank god it was only minor and not something like the stuff in this video......that day was my first...

well, i'm putting a rearend in the car today, and i'm going to push it to a safe place.....one step closer to getting it in the garage so i can gut it and prep the body over the winter

it's still there, i'm waiting on a rear end so i can move the car

if i remember correctly, the guy i bought it from told me that the spoiler, fenders, trunk lid, and hood are all DC (direct connection?) parts
