    radiator upgrade

I could have posted this in other sections as well. My '75 Duster came with a /6, 904 automatic. I have upgraded the engine to a stock 360 c.i. , with headers as the only upgrade at this time. I believe I need to upgrade the radiator, but does this mean I will need a new radiator support as well?

    Dodge 318

I get it, have been looking into this same idea myself. To not follow the crowd, keep a numbers matching drive train is very appealing. Then I talk to the machine shops and they say I am spending a lot of money for something that I won't get much out of and in the long run won't be happy with...

    Dodge 318

Thanks everyone who has been replying. A quick update, it is a '73 block, and mileage is unknown. It came out of an emergency response military vehicle which makes me think that it wasn't beat on, and was probably given some type of regular maintenance.

    Dodge 318

So I found a guy willing to sell a Dodge 318 long block. It came out of a Power Wagon which was a former military vehicle. It has a 727 auto attached with a tail piece for a 4 wheel drive. EnginHe has never been apart, he says it spins freely. He has no other info on this engine. My...

    Mopar engine differences

I have received a lot of great answers to my question, plus I took advice and went to Wikipedia and another web site for info. I especially like the way the replies turned amusing as they went on. Once again everyone for making me smarter, and I just want to say before this thread I never used...

    Mopar engine differences

The more I learn about mopar topics, the more I learn there are more topics to learn about. So as I talk to people, research different things, I come across people saying "short block", "long block", "big block", and "small block". This may be all semantics or they might all be a real thing...

    Hagerty insurance

you drive your car to work everyday because you need to stop at the local NAPA on the way home to pick up a part. You need the car to be with you because the young guy on the counter doesn't understand these old cars and sometimes you have to actually show him the application on the vehicle...

    Hagerty insurance

I had Hagerty for 21 years on my 1966 Mustang convertible. No problems, I didn't have any claims. Over Memorial Day weekend, I started the car, kept it in park, and walked to the other side of my garage. When I turned around, the mustang had jumped into reverse and was quickly heading out the...

Ok, I don't know the forum rules on P.M.ing, nor am I sure how to do so.

    Disc pads dragging on rotors

An update, it was a stuck caliper on the driver side. Once I freed it up, it started working properly. I still need to replace the pads, they are wearing unevenly, but I consider that to be minor, just have to find a place that stocks them. Thanks everybody that responded.

    Disc pads dragging on rotors

1975 Duster, slant 6, auto, had factory installed disc brakes on front, drum on back. Last trip out on long cruise. After we had been driving for a while, over an hour, we noticed whenever I had to apply heavy pressure to the brakes, we heard a grinding noise. Light pressure on the brakes, we...

    Will it fit?

So I have found a 4sp tranny, from a 68 roadrunner, short tail, no bell housing. Owner says he has a bell housing available, no additional info. I want to mate this to a 1987 318 block to install into a 1975 Duster. Is there any way to determine if 1.) the tranny is good, 2.) the "available"...

How many cars with original drivetrain are on this forum?

My 1975 Duster. This pic is taken 2 day after I got it home about 1 month ago. It is a /6, auto that I was originally planning on replacing but I am now seriously considering building up the /6 just to keep the original numbers matching bragging rights.
