    Lot's of good info guys. I was looking to gather different carbs for 2 different years,64.65. But specifically 64. This is a manual trans 273 Valiant.Not for restoration but for nhra class racing.

    pistons for a 273 list comes from nhra.badgerp275,trwL3058f,je155776,fed mogul322nd,ross74231,cp16cp. And then the high Comp pistons,ross57989,cpm14-cp. These would be high end pistons generally speaking. Just listing some options. They would also have the coresponding ring lists.

    Mine was a variable speed. I Took it apart and cleaned the Contacts and used some dielectric grease.Nothing was broke or cracked. Good to go.

    Ok, i'm not done yet. I have the'conversion'a/c bracket with the Big pulley.So the Setup that dusted has won't exactly work. So I bought the small ribbed pulley and replaced the large one. The large one has a bearing spacer, not needed for the small pulley. Ran a string around the pulleys and...

    Converting the 65 Valiant to manual steering. With the magnum Engine serpentine system. I don't have a/c. and now, no p/s. I am having trouble finding a belt that is short enough online. Anyone know a part # by chance.

    Which factory steering boxes work on 65 Valiant? And with mine being auto on the column, can I use the Mancini steering coupler to compensate for the length difference?Shaft and splines the same?
