Would you buy a flood damaged classic car?

The bidding just opened on it today - already at $4,525 and runs through next week. If you bid through a membership with SCA you don't have to have a dealers license according to them, so anyone can bid. With the limited amount of time to try and look at it and with so much unknown I am more...

Would you buy a flood damaged classic car?

That is one issue - I don't know if it was in salt or freshwater, or how long.

Would you buy a flood damaged classic car?

I think that is the shipping price - It is still on their "future sale" list. So bidding has not started. I am in central Missouri, so this one would require me to be there in person if we are really serious about it. But if I priced it similar to what you find some of the rust...

Would you buy a flood damaged classic car?

Yep - that is the one. Pretty much identical to what my dad had (profile pic) except this one has a vinyl top. I guess depending on where exactly in Houston they were it could have been salt or freshwater. From the looks of the pictures it was a pretty nice car prior to that. I could then focus...

Would you buy a flood damaged classic car?

That is probably my biggest concern, the longer it sits the worse it gets.

Would you buy a flood damaged classic car?

I have been keeping my eye open for a Dodge Demon like my dad used to have. Recently during my search I came across one that may be for sale in the future, although it was a caught up in hurricane Harvey. I am trying to keep in mind that it would need a complete rebuild, no matter how it may...

Anyone near Greer, SC willing to look at a car?

Anyone near Greer, SC that might be willing to take a quick peek at a car for me? I am not looking for someone to go out of their way, just hoping maybe someone is in the area or already knows about the car. I was originally looking for a 340 Demon, but this one at the price might be better...

Modern seats in a 67 barracuda

I believe they were from a 2003 3 series convertible. I think anything around 2000-2006 would be similar. I am trying to remember, but I think I gave around $200 each, which is actually a really good deal, as they can get pretty pricey.

Modern seats in a 67 barracuda

It was not a Mopar, but I did put BMW convertible seats into my 66 Fairlane Convertible that I used to have. They were a little sportier so they didn't have as much cushion on them, but were power and gave me much more headroom since the bottom cushion was not very thick. Also, the rails were...

New member - still searching for first classic Mopar

Thanks for the welcome. I went over to my parent's house last night and my dad had actually kept all of the manuals he bought when he got the 72 Demon, and stapled to the inside of one of them was his window sticker which listed all of his options.

New member - still searching for first classic Mopar

Hello from Missouri. I have owned several classic Fords over the years (69 Mach1, 66 Mustang Fastback, 66 Fairlane Convertible) and I am now looking for a 71/72 Dodge Demon. Thought I would join here and gather as much information as I can for my search. My dad previously owned a new 72 Demon...
