I also used the American Wire harness in our 69 Barracuda - it elimnates all of the small electrical bits from the engine compartment. We did the eintire harness, headlights to taillights, and it comes with alot of extra wire and connectors.

The American Wire wiring harness gets rid of all those extra components like the voltage reg, ballast, and resistor in the original electrical system. I replaced our entire wiring system with one, see our schematic - very simple.
