Sold my jeep and have 16k to put into my 73 dart. It has a 360 and a 904 transmission. But…it’s really not very powerful. Sounds good and looks good but I really want some decent power. What engine and transmission would you put in it? I’d really love a manual transmission. Maybe just wake it...
So I’m swapping a 73 dart front end to a 72 front end. I thought I had everything for the swap. But I guess not. Does anybody know the name of this part I can order? Is it a reinforcement bar? It’s under the front bumper and I’m assuming I need a 72 to attach the bumper too
I’m swapping my 73 front end to a 72. I have for sale both fenders, grill, front valance, bumpers, and hood for sale.
Hood is $400. Has an aftermarket scoop that has a few cracking around it from bondo but overall in good shape.
Fenders are 150 each
Bumper is 100
Grill and headlight insert...
I have a 73 dart with a 360la and 904 transmission. I would love to swap to a manual but I’m not sure which one would be an easy swap and easy clutch system. I don’t have or need a lot of horsepower. Just a cruiser at this point.
What do you guys think?
It’s a 1973 dodge dart. Motor is a 360la. I’m not sure what alternator. No wiring mods. Voltage regulator is new but was not replaced by me. It’s a stock replacement. Only the msd distributor and sniper have been added.
I upgraded my ignition to an msd ready to run distributor and my fuel system to a sniper. I finally got everything running good but my alternator isn’t working. It worked fine before hand. I deleted the ballast resistor and the stock ignition control unit but am obviously still using the voltage...
I’m driving myself insane attempting to get ignition with this set up. I have an MSD ready to run distributor with a sniper II EFI. The problem is that there is no specific set up direction for this combination. There are directions for sniper/magnetic distributor (which the distributor is)...
Thanks for all the help. Sorry for the poor description. It’s a 73 dart with a 76 360 in it. I’ve discovered it was a bad ground on the starter relay. I’m not sure what happened as it was cranking before but I put a new relay in with a proper ground and boom, it worked.
I’m installing a ln MSD 6AL along with a new ready to go MSD distributor. I’m was trying to chase down ignition 1 and 2 wires to jump together and send to the 6al. I stripped one of the blue wires to crank test and verify it’s the ignition 1. When I cranked with it attached to the voltmeter, I...
