Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

Thanks for the chart. It was difficult to find the stock size and I guess I was wondering if anyone on here was trying to stay stock like I was, and had some experience with this. I did find some tires for it though and should be good to go!

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

Basically because that's what is on it now. However you could be correct, as I haven't looked at the manual. According what I did find online and what I believe that I thought I saw with the car, the original size was 7.00 X 13. That equates to 185 80R13. But you have a point and I will...

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

Many thanks to everyone so far! I did check tires-easy, same issue is that they had a big selection in that size, but every one was a trailer tire. The one at discount that Dana67Dart posted was a trailer tire, but the one at Summit might do it! I'll look into that one a bit closer as that...

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

Yes, Coker was where Discount found the same size to use. They did find some Michelin models, however those seem to be ice and snow type tires. I was really looking for all season as we don't have much ice and snow where I'm at. :) Thanks for the link.

Human. Problem is that you have to read about the tires. Mostly what I saw were trailer tires. Thanks.

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

Looks like a good place to go, but they show to have less than four tires available in that size. Two models, one out of stock, and the other less than four. Was the same type of issue that Discount tire had as well as the internet searches that I did. The good thing is that I knew you guys...

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

Howdy, I've got a '67 Valiant Signet that has some stock 13" rims. I am doing my best to keep this looking like a stock vehicle. I'm lucky as the 13" tires are still holding up somehow, but they are far older than they should be. I know it's time to change them. I've been looking for tires...

    Howdy

Here's a pic from a few years back. It's still in basically the same shape, but it's getting to need some TLC.

Yes you are correct, it’s railroad geek. I used to work at the railroad in a technological type position so that’s why I took that nickname. But a lot of railfan folks are what I have heard to be referred to as “foamers ” which I have no idea where that name comes from. I’ve worked in a hump...

    Howdy

Howdy from Texas. I've got a '67 Plymouth Valiant Signet. I've had it for a while as my Dad bought it new. So it's one of the unusual ones where I know the entire history of the vehicle. I'm trying to get the cobwebs out for now. I've neglected it for a few years, but it's time to get it...
