for the long run, its just best to put harden valve seats, i already had a problem with a ford once, 69 mustang with an orginal 302, ran it for 3years as a daily driver and took it to the tracks and i started having problems, checked compression and 2 cylinders had no compression, took it apart...

actually you got me thinking bpwordman, because later on im planning on putting a 360 in and beefing it up some more so.... u know what, its just better to go with the 8 3/4 then because im tired of half assing things! it might be more expensive but in the long run it will just be alot more...

I heard that a ford 8" would fit in a 72 dart swinger but what year does it have to be and what modifications would i have to do??
