    floor pans

Thanks Guys ABS charges $20.00 per panel for shipping so it was $80.00 plus the price of the panels. I thought the shipping was high for 37 pounds. So if I ship them back it will cost me more money. I'll use what I have and get on with the project. Next time I'll know where not to get them. I...

    floor pans

I went back to Auto Body Specialties website and zoomed in on the pictures of each pan. Yep they look just as bad as the ones I got. Any idea where I can get better quality. A lot of people recommended them so I placed my order. Life is one big learning experience. Thanks Richard

    floor pans

Morning everyone I recently posted about gluing or welding my pans in (7/16) This morning I pulled the pans out of the box and was not happy. All four pans are cut up and banged up. Not sure if the cuts are suppose to be there or not. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think...

floorpans glue in or weld in

wow I was not expecting this much response. There was an article on fabo that had a link to one of the mopar magazines where they glued the pans in. The used screws every two or three inches to pull the metal together and having all those screws under the car is a concern to me. I think the...

Charlie S sent me pics of his compressor mount and it looks great. I'm impressed with his design. It has the adjustment pulley built in.

I would like to have the updated idler arm but it's not something that I have to do. If it would have fit I would have used it.

    64 k member to 68

Just got back from Carlisle and had a great time. It was a good show but very hot. 107 degrees at 4pm Saturday. I would like to install a 68 K member in my 64 dart and was wondering if it would fit. Both are slant six. The only thing I know is different is the idler arm. Thought I would rebuild...

installing AC in my 64 Dart

I would like to install AC in my 64 dart but do not want to install one of the under dash units that hang below the radio. In my research I found that the perfect fit units sold by Classic Air for the later darts will not fit the 64 because the windshield wiper motor is mounted under the dash...

64 Dodge Dart vin # attachment

I am hoping someone can tell me how my vin # is attached. There are two holes for rivets however it looks like it might have been glued on. Mine is off now and I want to reinstall it the correct way. I have seen other cars that also did not have rivets. Thanks Richard Kennedy
