if i have a faulty neutral safety switch or if its going bad, could that cause the ign system to die in mid cruise? or cause a no spark situation at startup? I also think my shifter linkage is loose and causing the switch to cut the engines spark. Any help or ideas guys?

Well ive got a stock mopar dist. and an orange box it works great! my 600 eddy carb works well too. Some hesitation at low rpms but im trying to tune that out. Do you think the 600 is too big? some people tell me so..... I think so far its fine. As long as i can get rid of the hesitation.

Hey im freshening my 273 and i noticed that it was rebuilt with .020 over pistons. Does anyone know what the cubic inches of a .020 over 273 are? Thanks.....

Does that mean i might not be getting proper oiling. where can i get those hollow bolts

Well i know that magnum motors only have three bolts and the drip tray. My engine has four solid bolts. I was wondering if leaving one out would help to oil the engine more. That is basically my question. But if the early motors have four bolts then i guess four it is!

no none of the bolts have any holes in them....

Putting a new cam in my 67 273. It was rebuilt awhile ago. First question...What is the torque specs for the thrust plate bolts. Second question... My thrust plate has 4 bolts in it, shoulndnt i have 3?.. and if so should i eliminate one and add the little drip tray.(its not there) Cant go...
