use what ever brand of oil you want ( not penzoil ) use risolone zinc additive its the 3x concentrate and not the engine treatment or run a top brand full synthetic those are your options. If you are not sure talk to an engine builder.
copper gaskets or ultracopper rtv is what I have always used I also coat header bolts with ultracopper run it through a heat cycle and re-torque and they wont back out
mine did the same thing accelerator pump was bad and my pump cam needed moved up 1 space pull it apart and clean it out 1 spec off dust can make a holley run like crap. I like holleys but they are touchy

Just wanted something different I don't use ballast, ignition is stock, dist has petronix electric conversion . I will still have key switch to keep steering lock but I like the idea of hiding a start button and kill switch.
my dart was losing coolant for awhile could never find it no visible leaks all the gaskets were good found it when I pulled motor for rebuild it was freeze on back of motor and it was barely holding
I want to put 70 dart on toggle and push button start I am not a wiring guy I know yellow is starter wire and im not using ballast resistor which is brown wire? would like to use relays also
