Can't get rid of my old parts

I get the "Do you Deliver?" question on items I have listed for free all the time. It takes a special kind of person to have the gall to ask that of someone. Before throwing the train stuff away, is there possibly a local model train club, children's hospital, or old folks home nearby to whom...

    Shop must haves

When I was growing up, my friend's dad had a shop where the walls were LINED with centerfolds. And beer signs. He was a Ford guy, so looking back, I'm a little surprised that the centerfolds were ladies. Anyone who remembers centerfolds is officially old...haha.

    Shop must haves

Water, toilet, 200 amp service (3 phase if you can), and if you're redoing the roll up doors, make them as big as possible. One of the biggest limitations I've faced is the height of my roll ups. You never know what you're gonna want to move in and out of there.

    Three on the tree?

Which is why fire engines are red. Back in the day, all fire brigades were volunteer, and they were very competitive. They began painting their stuff red as a show of pride and to demonstrate that their brigade could afford the best of the best.

    Three on the tree?

I'm 48, and have heard it referred to as "three on the tree" for as long as I can remember. Maybe it's a regional thing? I'm with you, though, I prefer to say "three speed column shift."

    take care of your gums

I use the same contraption and love it. Got sick of cutting off the circulation of my fingertips by wrapping floss around 'em, and the handle on the new contraption makes it easy to reach far back.

    Do you wave?

    That sounds wonderful!

    Do you wave?

And yes, I wave both as a driver and as a pedestrian. It's how I was raised. Most wave back in my area, but many do not. I don't let it bother me, though.

    Do you wave?

It's humorous until two people trying "out-nice" each other cause a backup. There's a reason traffic rules exist. If it's a tie coming to a 4-way, the person to the right has the right-of-way. Follow the rules and keep traffic flowing.

    Car cover

I know some guys who use pool noodles to keep the cover from touching the car.

    Bumper Rechroming

A buddy of mine has a few parts for his chopper at Royal Plating in Tucson. You might consider them, as well as Capital Metal, if you're going out of state.
