Generic braided fuel line and regulator, worthwhile buy ?

We do a bunch of EFI conversions in my shop. I don't recommend running that much rubber hose in any fuel system, and really don't with a higher pressure EFI system. Under that braided sleeve us still a rubber hose that eventually dry rot. I prefer to run as much hard line as possible, and use...

'69 Barracuda T56 swap, floor, cross member

This is the one I'm thinking about using: HMS VSS/OSS T-56 Magnum Reverse Lockout Unit – Hanlon Motorsports

    Roller Block Cams?

Hold on, the '81 isn't a roller block. A '91 is. They didn't phase in the roller cams until '86 on the 318, and '88 on a 360. Dropping the roller cam lifter dog bones and spider hardware in a non-roller block doesn't work. The block we used in my buddy's Challenger was an early '90's 360...

    Roller Block Cams?

We were putting his engine together during the early part of the pandemic shortages. Bullet had cores so we used them. We used them for other applications and told them the Comp stick we were originally planning on. It was a bit more expensive since they only had the billet steel cores at the...

    Roller Block Cams?

Yes the retrofit roller cam will work in the factory roller block with factory lifters, etc. We did that exact combo in my buddy's Challenger and a Bullet cam ground to be similar to a Comp XR274HR.

    Magnum intake drilling plate project

The alternator clears. The A/C compressor won't. My buddy is running the Edelbrock EFI intake on his Dakota R/T. He ditched the A/C earlier. I'm planning to do something similar for my Shelby Dakota.

'69 Barracuda T56 swap, floor, cross member

I talked with Modern Driveline a few weeks ago. They won't have them back in stock anytime soon. Low volume part, have to concentrate on the higher volume ones first. Was going to go with the ToddRon crossmember for my '68 Fastback, but looks like I'll have to fabricate something.

    3.9 Stroker

I had a 5-speed '88 Sport 4x4 when my wife and I started dating. Loved that truck and the 3.9 moved it along pretty good with the 5-speed. Looked at that M1 intake but never got around to doing it. Truck got hit and totaled in our driveway a couple months before we got married. Ordered a '96...

    Speed is $...

Rusty is correct. The default timing table in the Sniper is really basic. Like only three steps in the timing. You need to build a good table to to make it work. We install a bunch of these in my shop. Currently have a 340 '72 Barracuda now that I'll be tuning this week. The basic fuel and...

No Electronic box in pointless distributor

The later Lean Burn system (re-branded "Electronic Spark Control") in the '80's used the single pickup design and no advance mechanism. I agree there's a box or module hidden somewhere on the car, probably under the dash.

    318 comp cam

That's what's in my '65 Valiant. It's a good cam in a 318. Mine has 308 casting heads and 1.88 intake valves, non-EGR Thermoquad intake with an 800 'Quad. Backed by an early gearset 4-speed with 2.94 rear. Makes for a very fun combo.

    Overdrive transmission

Yes. I believe all 200-4R's are dual bolt pattern. We had one built for a customer's '69 Firebird convertible behind his 472 stroker. Finding cores is tough.

Bellhousing to center of stick mount measurement

I accidentally posted this over on the automatic forum this morning. I'll ask an admin to delete that one. Does anyone have a measurement of the distance from the face of the bellhousing (engine block side) to the center of the stick mount for an A-body 833? Say from a 130 tooth flywheel...
