Welcome to the community, James! Congratulations on the new Dodge Dart and your first Mopar project! Finding a "shed find" that is rough but mostly complete is often the best kind of restoration challenge. It means you get to preserve its character while bringing it back to life exactly how you...

    Family Project! 1975 Dart

Welcome to the Mopar family! It's awesome you'll be able to pick away at a '75 Dart project with your brother while you're home. Having a solid running and driving foundation is half the battle, and it sounds like you've got a fantastic plan for the build. For your rear leaf spring issue...

    Supporting engine with trans removed

Place a floor jack underneath the oil pan. The jack allows you to adjust the height of the engine precisely as you align the transmission for removal and reinstallation.

    A few oil mods questions

    Carb choice

    A few oil mods questions

I think plugging the main oil galley and feeding the passenger and driver-side galleys through a dedicated line is a common, reliable upgrade for high-RPM solid roller motors. This ensures consistent oil flow to both sides of the engine.

    273 special parts

The factory Commando solid lifter cam was "hot" for its time, but modern cam technology offers far superior power. Unless you're building an all-stock numbers-matching car, a new cam is the way to go.

    273 special parts

Save the forged crank, rods, 4-barrel intake, correct carburetor, dual-point distributor, and valve covers. Those are the most valuable and unique parts. Scrap the block unless you find a numbers-matching restorer.

My 1965 dodge dart gt. 2 door. Original headliner in good shape, bucket seats.. 75% clean car. Ran two years ago. It should start right up, with a jump start. 225 cubic inch slant 6 motor. Changed my mind. I will be starting the restoration project in 6 weeks.

    Greetings from Boise

Hello, I am new to this site and am interested mostly in the fastback Barracuda. I currently own a 65 Dodge Dart project car that needs total restoration. I would like to sell that project(already have too many) and find a driver quality 67-69 fastback Barracuda. Anyway that's why I'm here...
