I recently did the headlight relay mod and did the charge wire mod at the same time on my 1965 Valiant 200. As expected the alternator gauge is now not useful. I am not sure if the fuel gauge is just a coincidence but it now only reads half a tank on the gauge with a full tank of fuel. Has...
Finally had time to install my kit today. Worked out great and all the wire lengths were perfect. Is a good kit and great quality. Bought a 9” bit of metal from Rural King and built a bracket that bolted to the factor brackets under the battery tray. Hides nicely and is still accessible.
No remote. Going to look into the size of the base on the 67 and up version to see if it will cover the area of damaged paint under the base of mine.
Thanks

Been bringing this 65 back around. Has been a really fun project, gets lots of looks, and people want to talk to me about it every time I am out for a drive.

Thanks
The back drums are still the same 9” stock style drums just drilled for BBP.
The fronts were converted to disk with A proportioning valve and dual pot master before I got the car.
Thanks
