Guys again ... this is a 13 $ filter that just sits on top for the hood scoop access,
I can just take it off and put a screen on the 4150!
You guys overthink it.
Only filter that sticks trough the hood into the air scoop. The usual size is to big plus the hole is centered on the hood but the engine sits offset as you know.
Runs and Drives i switched from the 750 DP carb to a Holley 670 street avenger Vac Secondary.the 750' had a sgtripped Squirter bolt and was leaking plus the 750 is just to big IF you not racing with that mild of a engine..
i have Summit racing down the street and there OUTLET center has...
Short update
After a long time with NO progress I was able to sort out the trans setup/kickdown cable + new radiator and trans cooler as well as all the cooling hose.
I am going with a Amazn special. ALU RADIATOR with E Fans.
I also fixed and welded up a 2.5 in. Xpipe exhaust setup with...
Got it....
Since I have a aftermarket intake I just get a kickdown cable setup.
Otherwise I just need tge z bar pivot bracket on the trans.
I think I fab my own, instead of spending 30+$ on a a simple L bracket
Well I think I got it figured out.
The brackets are oem intake brackets fir the linkage to the Throttle.
I need a z bar located bracket on the trans
And a kickdown rod or aftermarket setup since I have a aftermarket intake
Hy guys
I need help with assembling the linkage on my 904 column shifter car.
I was not able to find good pics to lead me.
Dies anybody have pics on how this brackets and linkages assemble on here?
I assume the slotted rod is on the carb for the kick down?
Where do the brackets locate...
I didn't even have to think about a 360. My oem 318 was in good shape , just tired... so nothing a freshup can't fix.
As you said IF the 318 would have been trash I would have gotten a MAGNUM 5.9 just because of the heads and roller cam setup.
But i didn't have to do that so this 318 is fine...
the 318 is built and back in the car.
ended up
with a stock bottom end with new rings, and bearings a excessive cleanup and a dingle ball hone.
Speedmaster Heads ( 170cc/65cc) and SM 1.6 Rocker shafts , both where on sale and i think this are 1300$ well spend.
Since there is NO FT Cam cores...
Still new in box!!

Just a old school trick since the oem pistons are slightly offset you get a higher peak out of them they say due to angularity.
Idk if it's true or works
I put new bearings and rings in anyways so I just put them in accordingly.

What's your opinion about this cam grind

Non changeable Facts:
Stock bottom end
- pistons swapped left to right & flipped
SPEEDMASTER heads .
1.6 rocker shafts.
its not cheap , but whoever thinks CORRECT LS Swaps are cheap is mistaken... i have to be honest and it might be a bit cheaper than a HEMI, however i think this harness and ECU for under 1k is a huge help for everybodies Budget.
