This event is held twice a year. I attended the last one which was great. You get to park you car inside the swap meet area and it's free admission. Daughter, SIL and I in three separate classics will caravan there tomorrow.

Last Friday Oct 3 Modesto Cruise Night on McHenry Ave home of American Graffiti cruise. Lots of great classics parked and cruising up and down the Ave. Drove my '61 Bel Air

Last weekend attended the downtown Martinez car show where they closed down the whole downtown area. Lots of great looking classics.

Haven't logged in a while and missed this post. Oh well. There's the SF Ocean Beach "Hot Rod, Kutoms, Classics tomorrow at Great Highway and Lincoln Way in SF tomorrow Aug 15th from 7 am-11am. I gotta leave home by 5:30 am in my '63 Valiant and meet my daughter and SIL at Crockett by 7am then...

I participated with my eldest daughter and grand daughter in the NorCal Ride out III yesterday where there were over 200 classics, muscle cars and few Motorcyles gathered at Hill Top area. Great gathering.

Up coming event at Treasure Island on July 18, 2021 Nor-Cal Ride Out. According to my daughter, last year drew about 200 classic/rat rods cars and motorcycles. Thought I'd post here for anyone interested in going. Nor-Cal Ride Out — Old Custom Cars

As previously mentioned, I took a friend and his son Rockfishing last Wednesday. Here's the Ling his son caught.

My daughter drove from Crockett to ride with me to this cruise night. She said it reminded her of the car runs that I took the family in my 1931 Chevy sedan back in the 70's when she was a little girl. She thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Speaking of fishing, who here fishes? Here's my latest...

Well IMO Stockton Cruise Night was a bust. Lots of Lowriders, not anything wrong with that but most just parked then watch other classics drive up and down the 4 blocks that were designated as the "cruise route. Only saw two Morpar that included mine but there were several convertibles.

Going to Stockton later this afternoon to see what the Stockton Cruise Night is all about. Sounds like a fun event held every third Thursday of the month. Even though temps will be at 106 I'll still drive my Valiant Convertible. I'll post pics tomorrow. @stocktoncruisenight is on Instagram •...

My '61 Valiant has front discs.

Installed a glove box in my '63 Valiant convertible. Had to do major mods to get it to fit. No worries cuz it'll only hold registration and insurance docs.
