Ok. I think ive figured out whats going on. I timed it today to about 11-12* at idle. Took it for a quick 5 min ride almost ran perfect. Didnt cut out at the WOT near as much. Then took it to the gym, 15 miles away and it ran ok. Headed home back to running so bad i didnt think it was going to...

Just borrowed neighbors timing light. Turns out mine was junk. When its set to Zero no bounce. Advance the dial and it starts instantly. So, thats outta the way at least

All, ive done to the dizzy so far is pop the cap to inspect. Looks clean and well. Looks can be deceiving. As I mentioned earlier, if i try to rotate to gain advance in the dizzy it only slides out about half way of the slots its sitting in. I wasnt sure if this was all it did or if it was to...

I adjusted the step up piston as described per rebuilt kit. If i remember correctly it was to back out the idle stop screws and allow butterfly to completly close. press down on the piston tab while holding the piston down and tighten. Float was accordingly as well, first did it i had fuel...

Can someone also direct me where the Mainwells in the carb are? I may as well get those sprayed out. I had it completely apart to rebuild it and sprayed every hole with no blockage. I'm wondering if there is something else i could have done.

OK, horribly stupid question. On my timing marks, it reads 5 | 0 | 5 . Now to get from 0-5 on my light dial it about 6 lines @ 2* scale on the light so 12 * on the light. Am, I correct for keeping this scale as 12* on my light equals 5* on the engine? I was just wondering because if i bought...

I swear this car i jinxed... LMAO.. my tach is either shot or something is up. Went out for a bit this morning. The needle is erratic. Sometimes at 0 then to 2500 then 1100... All while the engine is idling fine... My gut tells me the tach is probably fine ... Maybe ill post up some vids on...
