did the compression range 125 to 135 plugs are black, all 8. carb is the holley 2210 im petty sure. Will look at the float being its running rich and adjust it a little along with the timing. Thanks to all!

To calculate the mpg I travel where I know the miles driven. Pretty accurate. No leaks from tank to carb. Checked that being I was smelling gas. Thanks for the additional info

Transmission was also rebuild. Checked mpg 3 times with each right at 9-10.

Ignition is a summit distributor with vacuum advance. Using the flame thrower coil. I'm at 2 degrees advanced total advance I don't know. Using auto lite plugs. Some tell me I should be using champion instead. A faint smell of gas is present only when driving not when sitting. Seems gas is not...

Have a 1971 swinger 318 5.2l. Engine rebuilt. New plugs plug wires electronic ignition PVC valve replaced. Rebuilt carb which is a 2 barrel holly original carb. Seems to run ok but I do expect alittle more performance. Only getting 10 mpg on highway I think 15 to 18 would be right with today's...

Trying to replace fuel and temp gauges on a 1971 dart swinger. Took speedometer cable off the trans and 5 screws to pull out cluster panel. After a few hours cant free the panel from dash. Lowered steering wheel to gain some room still stuck. Wiring in back seem to be free, with plenty of slack...

!971 dodge dart swinger. New shocks and leaf springs in rear. Car had 1 inch + tilt towards the driver side in rear. Front level. After new parts still has same tilt. Tires are same size on each side. Any ideas appreciated Thanks

got a dart swinger 318 had engine rebuilt Should I use gaskets , sealant or both on exhaust manifold. Used gaskets, with rebuild kit, and had leak. Is some gaskets better than others and I just used the wrong type. Thanks
