The Mopar community is very lucky to have (2) excellent specialists for our A833s.. Brewer Performance, both Wayne & Dan are great, and Jamie @ Passon Performance have alot of experience and parts. My only comment is that they are located in the east and I am in the west.... Just my $0.02....

Complete Super Shifter kit was sold in the early 80s'.. Hurst made those specific kits for the Mopar A833 and GM Muncie transmissions. Just my $0.02...

Make sure U are using the correct Z-bar.. Various Mopar Z-bars have the same width but the mounted tab that pushes the adjusting rod to the fork is not aligned properly, and this makes the pushback angle off-center. The adjusting rod should be parallel to the bell housing.. Just my $0.02...

The gear ratios in the Passon OD hemi transmission are 2.66, 1.59, 1.0, 0.80... Do not confuse this transmssion with the Mopar OE OD transmission, 2 very different internals and gear ratios.. Just my $0.02...

A NSS on an A833 manual transmssion?? Never heard about that one, or do U mean the reverse lite switch? A reverse lite switch can leak if there is no ring gasket or is damaged.. I have seen a couple of reverse lite switch shorted and sometimes cracked if overtightened.. Just my $0.02...

This Spring Fling had great attendance and mucho winged cars. Regarding the swap meet, never know what U may find... Kool U got the Torque-Thrust wheels... Last year @ the Fling had a swap spot and tried to sell a pair of USA-made 15x8 Torque Thrust wheels with a new set of Hoosiers street...

Jamie Passon recommends standard 90W gear lube, stay away from ATF/Dextron. I have been running that in my Passon Hemi OD... Just my $0.02...

3--Speeds were offered mainly due to the rapid increase of insurance premiums for muscle cars... Many times the insurance monthly cost was higher than the car payment... Just my $0.02...
