Seeking insight on this front disc conversion kit

I took the easy way out. I have a 69 Valiant. I used the spindles and rotors from a Chrysler Le Baron, early 80s v8 model, I can’t remember exactly. Then I used the callipers from a 74 A body with disc brakes. I set it up with the callipers on the back side of the rotor so I could use the front...

Slant six to five or six speed trans.

I was not aware that Passon made a five speed, I’ll have to look that up. Thanks!

Slant six to five or six speed trans.

I have been trying for several years to find a bellhousing, an adapter or some method of replacing my 4 speed with a modern 5or6 speed transmission. I have come across lots of “do this” or “do that” ideas on the internet, most would seem to be backyard sketchy **** conversions. If someone knows...

It's no wonder the Slant 6 is so great!

They are different, reliable, almost indestructible. My supercharged 400+ HP slant six cost about the same to build as a small block. Tons of torque from 1500 to all in by 5500 rpm. A great street engine! At car shows it is a crowd pleaser because everyone else has V8s in their cars.

    Supercharged Slant Six

Here is a pic of my Torqstomed slant six. It has 10 pounds of boost at 5000 rpm, and is a blast to drive.

    Rev limit of a S6

I have a 69 Valiant with a slant six and a TorqStorm supercharger on it. It puts out 10 pounds boost at 5000 rpm, pulls like a freight train. I take the car to car shows and everyone is blown away that it is a leaning tower of power. It has a 4 speed in it, at 5500 rpm in third it is hitting 100...

What would it take to make 1.44 lbs-ft per cid ?

The simplest way is to put a TorqStorm supercharger on it. I have one on my 8.5 to 1 slant six and it’s putting out 400 hp and a ton of torque. It does cost because of the fuel and ignition systems needed to run it, but the grunt at any RPM in any gear is a joy to drive

    A-833 2.47 1st gear change to 3.09

Check to see if you are having the front brakes hanging up after you release them. I had this problem on my Valiant and is was sluggish off the line. Fixed it and it’s great now.

    Torqstorm owners?

I have a TorkqStorm on my 69 Valiant slant six. The big 4 inch pulley add 150hp. I have the 3.5 inch pulley on mine which is suppose to add 250 hp. The engine is built to take it to a max of 5000 rpm. It pulls hard and surprises the hell out of people. It feels like a healthy big block under the...

    Torq Storm on the way.

So here it is after first start up. I have a short video of it, but can’t seem to upload it.

Probably a real dumb question but ....

At any compression over 10:1 the pressure the turbo puts out has to be very limited. 13:1 requires for street use with a carb and without computer control requires 100%+ octane fuel, adding more compression via a turbo requires more octain and ignition control. I run a supercharger on my slant...

    Cylinder wall weld??

JB weld looking repair. Personally unless it is a “numbers matching” restoration, I would just find another 68-71 block.

    Front end setup (Drag Racing)

When you get the alignment done, have the front of the car lifted to the approximate height it will be at the 660 foot mark and have the alignment set to factory specs at that lift height. It is worth .25 to .50 of a second. You can also take the third leaf out of the rear spring pack and put...
