You know there are numbers on the drive side case at the pan rail edge that will help me determine if i can swap insides and tail. Thanks, Steve

Charrlie, i agree it is not the same cable shifted as is in the cars. I have a couple of big block cable trans and the cable goes internal to shift them. This is my first trans i have seen set up this way. I also looked at my pics of the trans and yes the tailhousing has the mount so the main...

It is cable shifted but in a different way than the cars. Im sending a picture of the control arms and thet look like a standard auto. Does the slant case you have, have the A 100 trans mount on the uppper back of the trans?

I do remember, but finding a setup i think would be hard. A wilcap adaptor is now over 1,200 dollars. I guess i could swap to a V8 and the auto would work.Which makes me ask another question. Has anyone ever swaped the engines out and in the bottom of the engine compartment like the A body cars...
