    Update... Found something strange. It has nothing to do with the installed vs uninstalled distributor. It's the rpms. When the distributor is turning slowly as starting, no fire. When you spin it quickly by hand fires great. We have tried a net Mopar distributor with same results. Air gap is correct

    Tried turning starter with switch and arching at the solenoid. Same results. I'm so confused.

    Heavy red to battery. Heavy black ground. Orange to positive coil, black to negative. Red to ignition. 2 wires in plug to magnetic pickup. White not used/taped off

    It's just strange that with the distributor out it fires fine. We tried grounding the distributor uninstalled and fired fine. Also fires when distributor is uninstalled and not grounded

    Have tried 2 factory distributors. Both do the same thing. Maybe 2 bad but doubt it

    Thought about the voltage thing. When distributor un installed it will fire while turning engine over

    Coil checks good. Actually tried another. The crazy thing is it fires when the distributor is not installed but will not fire when installed

    Thought about this. Checked with distributor out and spinning manually while turning engine over. Sparked as it should

    Checked that and it's good. What confuses me is that if you turn the distributor without it installed it fores as it should, but when installed no fire
