Love that Valiant...tell me about the engine & drive train.

I guess my confusion comes about because if i put an 8" tread on an 8" wheel (width), and this is going in a 10.5 wide wheel-well....(accounting for offset to the wider side) how is it going to rub?

which car are you referring to, "i went wheel vintiques 15x7 with 4.5" backspace.. if i did it again i'd go with 4.75 backspace"?

Tell me what i am missing here...i have a 66 valiant too, and I measure the rear wheel-well opening at about 10.5". So how come 8" wide rims are not more popular for that a-body. Looks like most people are running 6.5" wide rims like your self?

Are you saying there might be a date stamped on the wheels somewhere? I don't see it. And if you are very interested I would be more than happy to dig out the other wheels, but they are buried. I bought all four together as a set.
