The dart sits pretty low so this is the best I could do in the dark this morning... You can see I did use some braided flex pipe between the header and s bend. I'm also no pipe fitter but it works and cost less than $200. But here ya go

I almost did the same exact thing . Installing and cheetah . Using a step bit the first little tip just polished a nice dimple in my fresh 727 . I wasn't to thrilled about it . I feel your pain . Glad you were able to fix !
