Teratech

Would like to meet other 60's Dodge/Plymouth owner's in my local area.

When I was a teen, I had two different military surplus 1963 Valiant's 4 door with 170cid engine. One of those car I got a chance to see how fast it would go on a very long straight road. Those Valiant's come with 110 mph speedometer. I twisted that needle enough past 110 to call it 115. Blew me away that it would go that fast with a 170. Took a long time to get up there. I had one then the other over about a 2.5 year period.

Then in college I needed a cheap reliable car. In 1975 picked up a 66 Cuda for $325 and grove it for 9 years. Got rid of it in 1984 and went 30 years without a slant 6. 2015 picked up a 1965 convertible and last month, picked up a 1963 2 door hardtop.

My therapy in life now is playing with those old cars. They are both in fair condition for their age, but need a lot of attention. Currently rebuilding one of the slant 6 engines. Will rebuild the other slant 6 soon afterwards. Recently replaced the top on the convertible.
