Are they #2/4 ? If so the oil is not turning to the bearing from the main oil gallery ,oil speed is too fast.You would be turning it to many rpm and should do the oil mods to block ,but if all bearings look like that its wore out.

If the temp on the rad is 40* different from top to bottom the rad is working right for aluminum , about 18* for copper so what you got?

Did you dial in the cam it could be over advanced cutting top end

Check your timming at 3000 and 5000rpm you could have too much timming a lot of people never check it at top speed and have seen many engines break timming chains and destroy the top end when the exhaust valves sizes in the guide from donations in circle track engines

Check the lower hose for sucking close if the spring rusted out

I had a machine shop cut a small grouve in the 2/4 cam journals on circle track engines I ran ,then you can restrict oil coming thru the head under the shaft if needed ,this is the only way you can save some cheap roller rockers bushing wear when using hydraulic lifters.

If you switch them from side to side would they line up?

I changed to bee hive springs with smaller retainers ,no problem now

Agree , should use the heavy bar on RF also use the sway bar to fine adjust .

I used the 1968. to 1971 manifolds ,we used 2 1\4 pipe with a 2" adapter on the end .

Release bearing out of lube try adding more clutch play and see if it stops

I would try to get all the timing in by 1800 to 2000 rpm maybe cut it back to 35deg
