hi guys, I have a 7.25 suregrip cone style. The cones and spider gears are good but the compression springs are broken. They measure 1 3/16 x 1/2”. Does anybody have any idea where a person can find replacements?

Thanks guys, I do have the proper 66-67 seats with seatcovers on order through pro fit.But still need the stiffening plates. So far I have a line on a couple consoles locally but still need mounting brackets and all shifter components

Thanks for info Tim. I will look at my tails haft housing. The Trans is not original so anything goes. As far as the brackets, I "believe " they are the same for all 66-67 abodies, but not absolutely certain

Hi guys, one of the next things I'm going to do on my 66 Valiant is swap from column shift to center console floor shift. I am hoping somebody has done this before and can give me pointers on what to be aware of. I am still in search of the console and shifter I'm in no hurry to get this job...

Lou, are you still running the 7 1/4 rear end? Because it looks like the tires are same size in 14 or 15

Hi guys, I picked up some 15x7 steelies with a 4" bs. For my 66 Valiant Signet with 7 1/4 rear end I am hoping to put some 245/60/ 15 on the rear. Before I pull the trigger on them I would like some input from you guys. Has anyone run those on their 63-66 abody without mods? Thanks

Do you know if these will work on 66 Valiant? I am relatively sure the fronts will but do not know about the rear?

Lou3500 do you have any pictures? Im not opposed to 14". Now if I understand correctly how backspace works, if those wheels were 4" backspace that would put more on the body side and less on the springs. Am I understanding correctly?

Thanks for the info Mike. Summit has both the 15X7 4" bs, and 15x8 4.5 backspace. If it is fees able I would prefer the 15x8. But I would sure hate to have them not fit. Your dart looks great and I went thru your 273 build post and looks and sounds awesome.
