haven't posted in a while, sorta burnt out working on the old cars. But I did add these lights a few months back. Great for when I inevitably break stuff.
MPFI definitely... I use Megasquirt. But as previously stated Holley Termi/HP/dominator stuff has a MASSIVE following and lots of people tune them. There is also fueltech, haltech, Motec just to name a few.
Then decided after driving it for a while that the specific drone/Tone whatever was not that great for any length of period driving. At least without hearing protection. So I changed the downpipe and added a Blackwidow widowmaker 4" muffler. I can hear the difference at idle, I can sorta hear it...
Alternators | HP-B7007-180A(1vPulley) | Autotech not cheap, but I was tired of messing with lower amp alternators. Even the proform 110amp I had couldnt' hang.
I found a company that builds alternators with a Chrysler billet front cover, (180amp 116amp@650rpm 185amp@1800rpm) From Autotech engineering in Riverside CA. VERY tight fit being as I have it mounted to the driver side. But it fixed all my voltage issues, Idle is stable, everything works...
So mine started backfiring and running crazy, found my cherry crank sensor wasn't tight. My fault of course. So as I was cruising down the road it was bouncing around and getting hit by the wheel, cut a nice groove into it.
Yeah I was looking at them. I did make a quick rip down the highway turning the boost control on.. set at 50% and it made 10-11psi with both springs. If that's repeatable i'm good with it. lol
