We are looking for a rear main cap (or whole set) for a 1978 360 engine, we lost ours during the machine work, we are located in south central Missouri in the little town of Ava.

We have only been able to come up with one so far and the machine shop said it wasn't close enough to use, nobody around here seems to have any and salvage yards will only sell complete engines, does anyone on here have one or a set they would sell, also wondering if 360 magnum main cap will work.

We lost the rear main cap on our 360 after having block cleaned and bored, cam bearings and freeze plugs installed, what's the best way to proceed, as we don't have the the money to start over with another engine. Thanks for any help.
