    68 Cuda Funny Car

OK - sure looks like a spoiler in the photo in its current state. A lot can happen to a car in 50 years, but no worries. Good luck with it !

    68 Cuda Funny Car

I talked with Cecil, and have some info that may help ID the body in case it was his. Fiberglass is from a chopper gun, not hand laid - had an aluminum rear spoiler with a notch in the center to help parachute blossom - cowl had the square notch, but windshield wasn't cut or notched (he ran the...

    68 Cuda Funny Car

It looks a lot like this car - Cecil ran it injected after retiring the '65 AWB car - but the rear wheel openings appear smaller than his. I'll ask him if he knows what happened to the car.

    A Body Tire Clearance

I can only confirm what I've dealt with, but OK. FWIW, my '74 Duster had its factory 8.25, all the rest except 1 Slant -6 '73 Dart had 8.75s. In every case, the springs (whether with small relocation kit or stock), the wheelhouse size, and the opening were limiting factors, especially with the...

    A Body Tire Clearance

'74 Valiant - so it's a Scamp, right ? Which means it has Dart wheel wells & openings. They don't accept much with an 8x15 wheel, if that's the size you're planning. Springs and wheelhouse and wheel opening restrict wheel/tire size to 15x7 & 235/60s on the Darts I had & a Buddy's '70 Dart. 15x8s...

My mom wants an electric lawn mower. Any reccomendations?

About a year ago, I bought a Skil 40V lawnmower, basic model; it's been great. Maybe 1/4 acre of lawn, it'll go 3 times before needing a recharge. A few months ago, I bought a Skil 40V leaf blower, so now I have 2 identical batteries & chargers. It's nice that I don't have to deal with gas...

John Force in a bad bad wreck today

That was brutal & hard to watch - doubt the 'chutes would have done much, but he may have been busy trying to aim the thing (while blinded) & whatever. That impact with the left wall was about as bad as it gets. Also hard to watch the reactions from the team mates without tearing up, but Force...

    Good manual for 73 duster

The factory service manual is hands-down the best. I have one for everything I own. Ebay, Irv Bishko, AutoLit, etc is where I'd look.

    Tips for the track?

Just noticed the lug nuts - if you have open-ended ones, some tech guys are big on seeing the wheel studs, no matter the ET. If you swap them on, it may save you some hassle. You might get away with not having a driveshaft loop, but it's easier to get through Tech having one, and a good idea...
