Well that brings up another question then. I bought the Holley mid-sump oil pan kit (which doesn't have a hole for the dipstick), and my plan is to use Holley #302-74 tube + dipstick in the block hole. How do I know if the oil level is correct or not?

For some reason I didn't see the earlier posts on my phone when I was looking at this initially. I see the part number but when I looked it up it says it's for oil pan applications not in the block - but based on the photos it looks fine in the block. Can anyone here confirm that Holley...
