I once had a guy walk up to my car (I don’t own a hood for it) and say to his kid “look it’s got nitrous” and point at my turbo. That didn’t bother me, definitely not going to let someone saying “posi” bother me either. Life’s too short for stuff like that to get to me. Usually.
