Finally got the dart back together. Haven’t test driven it but it’s registered. Last minute as always.

Letting it marinate in the backyard. Once a month warm up routine. It’s a driver again for the first time in 23ish years but desperately needs an alignment.

Well, I’ve chalked it up to driver error on what originally happened. Should be dropping off the gear set, third member and bearings here in an hour or so. Housing is all cleaned out. One axle bearing upon closer inspection is able to slide in and out of the retaining plate a considerable...

For now it’ll stay that way. Might eventually knock most of it down to the original blue.

Figure I’ll add to it. 68-70 B body rear, stock spring location and wheel tub. 15x8 5” backspace and a 255/60/15. Plenty of room all around.

Yes you can, I didn’t measure the engagement amount but I can do that after work. The video I sent you of the end play before isn’t making sense either since I can’t feel that in either bearing.

That’s where I’m at with it currently. I’ll have you put eyes on it when you pick the valve covers up tonight. Cause I’m drawing a blank with this one.
