I would, but the shock isn't fully pushed into the on the perch. It still needs to go into it about 1". It's going to be right on the axle housing, maybe 1/2" away

hello everyone. I finally got the new rear end in. However, the disk brake tab for the brake lines are directly in the way of the rear shock. is there a work around or do I have to cut the tab off and move it. If so, which direction should it go? I was wondering if I turned the spring perches...

Mine is not like that, it feeds only down the drivers side to a bracket and a long housed cable from the passenger's side goes to the brake.

Ok, I got ya. The cables that came with the brakes aren't long enough to touch each other. they are only about a foot long. I'd still need to get a cable for the passenger side and add another boss/bracket to the chassis. Unless I'm missing something

Finally put the 8 3/4" rear end in my 69, Big thanks to Dartman. Now, I need a longer rear disk brake cable then the one that came with the summit brake package. where do I find the long cable that will hook into the rear disk brakes? Also, I have a complete stock rear end, is it worth keeping...

I used Summit's Kit, it was inexpensive and surprisingly high quality. I didn't want to spend too much on rear disk's, since I have to spread my restoration money between 4 classics. Just big bolt, 8 3/4" RR since I planted a V8 in the Cuda, now larger front's then I can put my sweet wheels on...
