Went to do my new engine break in today and my new Battery was close to dead so I charged it up. I checked it with the multi meter and it says 13.48 volts when it’s NOT running. Looks like something it ‘Leaching’ power from it. Hoping you guys can give me some ideas of where to check...

Ya, they totally give a guy some play for sure. I think I remember reading (from Schumachers site) that you should install the mounts a bit loose so you can adjust, etc. Get everything where you want, then torque em down.
I got it figured out. I had to take some material off the power steering box and then Jack the passenger side up/over slightly to fit the manifolds on. I had forgot to tighten down the mounts at first so everything was loose.
Okay, so I hunted around and I think my power steering box is chanting the engine over slightly. It is mashed right into the drivers side engine mount. Can I take out the unit and clearance it a bit with the die grinder or are most guys going manual when they go Big block?
