    Good OC Trans shop

Try Westminster Transmission in Westminster (they rebuilt my 904) or Cress-O-Matic Transmission in Hawaiian Gardens (Bill is highly experienced and runs a great shop).

Suspension and steering on 74 duster

The man is right. The kit from Kanter/PST has a lot of nice parts and its a good deal versus buying separate. The only things I didn't use from the kit were the LCA bushings (i got ProForged), strut rod bushings (used 2-piece Moog design) and offset UCA bushings (used Moog offset).

Chrome paint pens to do chrome details on dash

Hey @matt030305 these look great. Can you give us a bit more detail on how you got it to work so well? Prep? Masking? I’ve used those pens for other stuff before but it always turned out a bit blotchy/swirly. How’d you get it so smooth?

Creak/Pop In the Front End of My Swinger

Hmmm...or I misremembered what I saw before. I doubt it would be plug-and-play for any particular LCA, but it could certainly work for any year LCA with minor modifications. I couldn't have had someone bend super-thick metal like that for the price, and the only "mods" I did were some quick...

Creak/Pop In the Front End of My Swinger

I bought the sway bar mounts from Peter Bergman. Although they are identified for 67-72 a-body mopar, they wouldn't have worked as sold, so I cut them up a bit before welding them on. I was super happy with the result. See here for the story.

Creak/Pop In the Front End of My Swinger

It's been quite a while but I just wanted to post a resolution to this. The noise in the original video was coming from the ball joint in the idler arm. Once I got it out I could tell it was toast, with massive friction and uneven movement. Following a full front-end rebuild, the car is back in...

What ball joints are any good anymore?

I don't know where Kanter/PST sources their parts, but everything in their standard rebuild kit looked, felt, and installed like quality parts. The only thing I didn't like was the OE style one-piece strut rod bushing (it wasn't necessarily bad, I just like the Moog K740 better).

Just got my seats back for my Demon project

OP -- the houndstooth looks great. I did something similar with the front bench and rear of my 72 swinger. (The front bench is from a 74 Duster - I had it upholstered by a local shop). It gets lots of attention.

    Help me improve my brakes

What do you mean by "light duty slant six brakes?" Did you convert front drums to front disc? or 4-piston disc to 1-piston disc?

[Found!] Right Knuckle/Spindle for 1972 With KH Discs

Thanks. I'm going to keep looking for a single, but I might just have to bite the bullet and buy 2. Please let me know what you want for them (either here or by PM). Thanks.

[Found!] Right Knuckle/Spindle for 1972 With KH Discs

Took my newly rebuilt front end to get aligned and couldn't get things correct. Turns out that my passenger side knuckle is a little bent. This would be for a 1972 Swinger with original KH Disc brakes. Lemme know what you have.

    Looking for unubtanium part ideas

Hi Rick. Thanks. Rotors of various makes can be found. But the hubs are weirdly separate from the rotors and they are very hard to find.
