    Yeah probably in the 500-600 hp range so will be getting a full rebuild. If the splines are ok with that, then it will be a good buy.

    Hey all, First post! Looking at buying this SB 904. Will be put behind a fairly stout combo, rebuilt with a CRT DIY kit most likely, for max strength. Photos show the condition of the splines. Is that to be expected and ok? Or should I stear clear and keep looking? Thanks!
