    Battery kill switch location

Very much appreciated. Bought the car in '83, recently did a 6 year rotisserie resto. Did everything myself except the paint and transmission. I honestly thought I'd never survive.....It was a love/hate relationship

    Battery kill switch location

I did drill a hole in the tail panel - I made sure to touch up the paint so there's no bare metal and found a perfect sized plastic bushing that stays in place and looks clean. I see some really good ideas on here. Makes me wish I would've made a thread like this before doing mine.

    Jegs SSR Wheels

All, Bought a pair of the Jegs wheels pictured for my slicks. Got the slicks mounted, went to put them on the car and realized the lug nut dilemma. I can't use the same lug nuts as the Billet Specialties wheels, I need an Acorn style lug not for the Jegs Wheels. Dummy me - If I would've read...

Post your best racing related memory!

This is a great thread guys.....So many cool stories!! I bracket raced my Demon from 1983 - 1995. Had some decent success, was track champion in 1988 at Great Lakes - won a $1000 to win Sunday special and some points weekends once in a while. Looking back now (Hard to believe its 40 frickin...

New best with my 340 Duster

Great looking Duster! I assume you’re pleased with the Hoosier 9x28 radial slick? I just started a thread a few days ago about possibly purchasing the M/T 9x28 Radial slick. I might need to think about these as well? Thanks for the post!

Rear Tire Discussion If I may?

Thanks guys! I appreciate the compliment Dave! Engine is a 360 based 420 cid w/Bullet hyd roller. .573 lift, 249/257@.050 Once it’s sorted out, I’d like to bracket race it a bit more and I’m really leaning towards these slicks. Back when I raced the car in the 80’s & 90’s I had bias slicks and...

Rear Tire Discussion If I may?

Hey All!! The car the tires are going on is my Demon - All steel car w/SS Springs moved inboard to the frame. I'm presently using M/T ET Street "R" - 275/60 - 15's. Best ET is 11.18 with a slow 2-3 shift and a tiny stumble off the line, 60' was 1.48. - that was with a 4.30 gear - was going past...

Pulling Engine/Trans over the winter....Header Question??

For some reason I didn't see you wrote TA (Tubular Automotive) instead of TTI - I apologize for that! I still have a hard time believing they would fit a Demon and not a Dart??? I hope you're happy with the TTI - I have no complaints as of yet.

Pulling Engine/Trans over the winter....Header Question??

Not trying to argue, but I’m wondering why they wouldn’t fit a Dart? Dart wheelbase is 3” longer, wouldn’t think that would affect anything? I have the TTI 1 7/8” - 3 1/2” and when following the instructions, the went in very easy and fit great.

Pulling Engine/Trans over the winter....Header Question??

I thought about trying it myself, but if the guy I've known for 40 years that builds 727's can't figure this one out, I thought I'd better take it to a professional. I have an old 727 core in my shed, maybe someday I'll dig into it. I'll keep everyone updated as this has me excited again...
