Unfortunately I can't wait... I was leaning towards the Speedmaster, but I saw a Professional Products intake on a friends Chevy and was wondering. Didn't seem bad and he said that it isn't bad. Which is like saying Coke is almost like Pepsi.
I have been on the search for months... It is a magnum engine so Weiand and Edelbrock are twice what these two are. Used are usually more expensive in my area than these 2.
I realize that they are both cheap. If you notice I stated that for this build I am not putting a higher priced intake on it. This is a 318 budget build with magnum heads. It's going into a kids Dart. I want him to see that he can have a muscle car without spending a fortune.
Here is a screenshot from Summit. Which intake would you choose of these 2. Don't say Weiand or Edelbrock because I am not putting the money out on this project for a higher priced intake?
Pros and cons of both? Are they virtually the same?
I have a 340 cast crank and balancer both in good condition... some light surface rust on the crank from sitting in my workshop which isn't climate controlled... can be polished out...
$100.00 I am in Central NC near Greensboro
