Im painting my car purple and would like others opinions on what color to paint the engine? Most I saw at carlisle were orange. What color is yours? Any advise?

Depends on how 'stock' looking you want it. If you want 'custom' then any color that matches purple might look good....how about aluminum...or silver.

IN MOPAR MUSCLE MAGAZINE
My 72 duster is plum crazy purple and I did the engine in ornage because I wanted the "jewelry box effect" ....pop the hood and the engine stands out and is the main focus and it doesnt all blend together and look " BLAH ".
I contemplated painting the engine to match the body and then decking it out with either chrome or aluminum accessories but......something about it I just didnt quite like.....I figured the high impact contrasting colors would feel more mopar and would look really neat.....and well......I think I was right, how about you?
