I think that chrome just capped the front edge of the vertical grilles/slats. Are the chrome grilles just for Spring Special cars with the red rear decklid tape stripe?
And I thought the other 68 Barracuda were all painted silver with black painted on the front, top and bottom sides of all horzontal tabs. And black on the area surrounding the turn signal.
The original ones I have are like that. But I don't know if mine are original to my Formula S. Are 68 Formula S's ALL blacked out?
