I must say I agree to a certain extent, one of the reasons that mopars are rarer, is that there is so few resto places out there....chebbies and ford repros are all over the place. I understand us true die-hard mopar lovers are dying to find that last piece to the mopar puzzle, but the hunt is 1/2 the fun.

Your right, the hunt is 1/2 the fun sometimes... I bought a used pair of grilles that looked good in the pics and were described as "very nice" but they were crappy. 1 was melted near the parking light mount & the other had a cracked fin. I just want to be able to buy good, quality parts for my car.

I agree, I would love to find some of the missing pieces to my mopar puzzle, but with more repop stuff you are going to find more mopar "kit cars".

Good price on the repop 68 grilles though!! Someone will have to keep us updated as to the quality.

Really?Or are you just a shat-for -brains? Some of us have taken quite a while to find good factory parts.As these CHEAP parts get into the mix,the price goes down for my cars as well as yours.But then you have already put the CHEAP parts on your car so it should be worth less.The main reason our cars have held their worth is very little aftermarket.Since the chevy and ford people have so much CHEAP parts,the aftermarket will do the exact same thing to our cars.Soon you will have what you want,chinese,korean,indonesian,fenders doors quarters.I just dont know where the jobs go,do you?

C'mon guys. In 68 there were over 235,000 camaros buit vs. 45,000 barracudas. That means part hunting is a lot less. Plus the 68 grille setup is the one wanted by all these guys building SS clones. As far as the values go, they're already in the toilet, and who knows if they will ever come back.

When the rare NOS parts can be found, these crooks want entirely too much cash for them. I guess if I was rich, I could buy that $1000.00 NOS gas cap! Oh yeah, saying my car is "worthless" is just dumb.

Didnt say your car was worthless.When you put CHEAP parts on your car-korean vs factory-you should not be entitled to the same price as factory or NOS.I have bought complete cars just for the grilles,then tried to sell what i could to offset the price.We have different opinions,im sure you wont change,and im sure I wont either.

Entitled? I think the value of a vehicle being purchased is in the eyes of the buyer. If they decide the value should be adjusted based on the use of NOS, refurbished or repro parts, that's their decision. Is it not?

It`s nice that some of these parts are being reproduced. The bummer is if it`s coming from PGClassic then you know it`s being produced in China. I just wish more of these parts were made domestically.
 
I could care less what my car is worth because it has "high dollar" NOS parts. As long as the new parts look good and go on good I will be happy.

I never plan on selling my car so it doesn't matter what it is worth! If you are worried about what you can get for your car then go over to Barrett Jackson and join those dickheads!

Oh ya and thank them for jacking up the price of my 68 barracuda notchback 318, because 70 or so Barracudas came with hemis!

What ever....

This is the same argument as a rebodied car.Salvage vs clear title.If you know it the price is definately less if not you could pay more-true?

Absolutely correct!You get what you pay for.
 
The year is 2010 most of our car parts havent been made in USA since the end of the 70's nothing is going to change I have a car that I LOVE dearly and when it comes down to it if theres a part that I need I NEED THAT PART and if its from usa korea or china Im still going to buy it regardless.
 
Great to see new parts coming out now we need 67 and 69 Grilles and Head light Bezels would be awsome.
