This is a brand new carpet for a 1974 thru 1976 Duster and it has never been installed. I bought it a few months ago, but have now decided to change the color of the interior. It is the original style 80-20 loop in Parchment Tan. It is Heat and Pressure Molded to the original floor pan, and is made with very nice grade of auto carpet. It also has the heavy duty MASS RUBBER backing and jute padding to reduce road noise. I paid $170.00 plus shipping ($200.00 total). Will take $125.00 FIRM. Please call, PM or email if you have any questions. 214.793.8998 tgbraley@gmail.com

Why wouldn't you just dye it ? Or oes dying give you questionable results ?

I wish I could. This is a great carpet and would like to use it. It doesn't look very good after you dye them. All dye manufacturers say their dye is good for restoring a carpet but not changing colors. I have see one that was dyed from light to dark color and you could still see the light color at the bottom of the carpet threads. Looked crappy.

Thank-you for your response. Our carpet is the same colour..faun..and we are debating about dyeing it black. Guess my wife gets another vote !
