I have a block, crank, main caps, heads, and exhaust manifolds, out of a 69 SWINGER all checked no cracks. standard bore and journals. has been siting for while now, has surface rust on. it Is still in bag from machine shop. Will trade for A body big block 727 trans and all linkages/kickdown and big block exhaust manifolds. thanks $1000 obo
 
I think they (trans) are the same, it is just a habit that I say sorry. I want to sell all together or trade thanks.

I believe the only way is to tell is get one from an original 1968 a-body big block, they have the VIN stamped on the trans case, that would tell you, otherwise I think they are all the same. 1969 may have a stamp too?
 
block numbers are ew 340 p26420247 date code 8-9-68
heads are x castings
manifold numbers are 2863549,2863553
