Im going to bend my own fuel lines. I have used aluminum in the past with good results. Easy to bend, low price and it held up fine. Summit also has rolls of Stainless for $30, which is only $5 more then the aluminum. Should I skip the aluminum. I hear stainless is hard to bend, flair and seal.

Just like aluminum there are different grades of stainless steel. It would depend on which one it was to know how tough it would be to bend and flair.

Adam...

For the amount of trouble/hassle and expense you'll have dealing with the stainless.... IMO I'd go with the Aluminum or even better IMO Braided Line. I wish, I would have used it myself :cussing: The solid aluminum line I ran transmits noise like crazy from my electric pump. Gotta get back to it one day, see what I can do too quiet it down. Also, I dont think you can double flare Stainless...

Just my .02

Hope it helps.

I think Im going to stick with the aluminum. Ive used it and had good luck with it. Braided would be nice but now were talking an easy $100 and it looks to racey under the hood. I would need to switch to hard line before entering the engine bay.
