I'm looking for nice 3" exhaust with x pipe and mufflers... TTi stuff is not stainless, what is out there.. please tell me. Looking for a deep tone, with a thoaty exhaust note.

I dont know of anyone that has a stainless system for Mopars. TTI will coat there systems in and out for extra $$$$

I know Summit sells their 3" aluminized system...you could have it coated I suppose. Or, have a custom fab job done...Columbia River Mandrel Bending sells 3" stainless builders kits, would that be of any use?

I think Pypes makes a stainless kit, but I don't think it's 3", and I've heard it's a ***** to install...

I've built a stainless sytem for a motorcyle I once had. I used mandrel-bends.com, ordered what I needed, cut and tacked everything into place, and took it to a professional TIG welder to finish it out the full weld. I plan on doing the same thing with the Dart in a 3" system. Could be one way to go if you want stainless.

Yeah, like txstang84 said, Columbia River Mandrel Bending. That's the place.

I could get the TTi's but they are not stainless and they come with those dynaflow super mufflers... I wish they came with ultra flows.. I also heard borla was nice.. My thing is I can get the tubing and have my guys make an exhaust but it would prolly be in the 1K range whe its all said and done... kinda pricey for exhaust right? Or I could just settle for the TTi and not get the mufflers and get the ulta flows, borla, or flo pro?

$1k is not bad for a custom stainless system, assuming its tig'd. It will look and fit better.....I won't even tell ya what $$ I have into my Abodies exhaust

As rjs said-$1k is not bad for a custom SS exhaust...especially if you have TTis in the mix...the headers themselves are like $600 right? I paid nearly that much for my exhaust and all I have is Hedman tight tubes, mandrel-bends.com pieces (6 ea U bends) Summit X-pipe and 2.5" mandrel bent system. The installation was probably the most painful part...but, the job done warranted the cost and it sounds nice. I ought to chop off the headpipe sections, send them to Hedman and say this is what you need to make to fit this into an A body and connect to the rest of the exhaust-sell these optional with the headers. They already state you have to have a mini-starter anyway...

The long tubes won't cost anywhere near as much to finish the install though-far less bending around tight spaces involved.

I got the tti minus the mufflers... I'm not sure if im gonna get borla, ultra flow, flo pro, etc

Summit used to sell a Pypes 3" stainless system for a-bodies. Not sure if they still do but it's worth a look. I bought their 2-1/2" kit for my car about 3 yrs. ago. Had to do quite a bit of work to get it to fit right but from what I've read they fit Dart's good, which if I remember right is what you have. Mine has a nice deep rumble.
