Duster Rear Window Louvers

Okay... I'm not letting this die.. I have a set of louveres I bought that I haven't received yet. But when I get them I'm going to carve on them till I get the look I want.. Now we all have been talking about fiberglass, I had another Idea.. "Vacuum Forming". I know the basics of heating a piece a heavy guage vinyl and it gets sucked down around the form, (louveres). They may be extremely light and only need to be taped on with some 3M tape, but I don't think the cost would be as stiff as fiberglass?? I'm going to do some research and see what the cost may be.. But it's another avenue that we can look at. Possibly cheap enough that a wooden form could work as well.. Who knows. but I don't give up that easily.. I like a good challenge!!!
