I'm interested. I have a 72 Swinger and a rimblow wheel out of a 71. Aren't those three nuts just something I could acquire at a hardware store? Or are they something special? I mean, no one would ever see them, right? So why would someone want to buy them from you?

Those are special nuts, I doubt you'll find them at a hardware store.

They are longer and countersunk. Although I haven't installed one of these adaptors I would think a standard nut and washer may work. They are usually covered by the center cap or horn button.

The can installs on the column, Then the three nuts your looking at hold your Rimblow or Tuff Wheel on, rounded part toward wheel. If you look at the wheel you have you will see the countersinks for the special nuts. Tom over at R/T specialties probably has the nuts. If not Pm me I pretty sure I have a set. Larry

Just wondering if anyone knows I have a 70 dart automatic and was thinking of putting a CHRYSLER Tuff wheel on it do I need this adapter for the install or will the wheel fit on the original set up for the stock wheel I have now.
Thank You

If you didnt have a tuff wheel OR a rimblow wheel from the factory, then yes you'll need this adapter

FYI about those nuts they are also oblonged . I believe for safety so they will not come loose. Might be a good idea to use nuts with the nylon locking inserts .
