1st Annual PSC Fallen Mascot Memorial Sale ... in memory of Sox

How about running a yearly powder coating special in his honor every year to celebrate his life? Maybe on his birth day if you know it. His death day may be too sad. ...

Karl, I think that's a marvelous idea.

Some of you may recall that last February 3, we lost one of our beloved shop mascots, Sox.

If you haven't been here that long or missed the thread, here's the announcement.

To celebrate his life and his memory, Phoenix Specialty Coatings will have its First Annual Fallen Mascot Memorial Sale.

All FABO members with parts arriving here between February 3, 2013 and April 24, 2013 (his birthday) will be entitled to an additional 5% discount above and beyond the normal FABO discount. In other words, all FABO members will receive a 10% LABOR DISCOUNT and all Gold Members will receive a 15% LABOR DISCOUNT between February 3 and April 24, 2013. This is the longest and best sale PSC has ever had so don't miss out!

Shoot a few pictures of your parts and send me an email for a free estimate. Close-ups of any nastiness -- dings, dents, and damage I'll need to address -- are also very helpful and allow me to give you a more accurate quote. (That's right ... unlike most other powder coating shops, unless I'm instructed to the contrary, I will get your metal as close to perfect as I can before any powder is applied to it.) My email address is

If you've never had a chance to check out my work here on FABO or on my website, I am a custom one-off and Mopar parts restoration specialist; my tag line is "Your Imagination is the Only Limit," and I truly mean it! Here's just a "few" examples of the work quality and finish you can expect ...

If you're a previous customer, feel free to add a few pics of your parts or a comment here too if you wish. Feedback is always welcome and highly appreciated.

If you'd rather talk than type, my shop hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Central time. (The equipment is loud though and Billy's on the phone a lot so leave a message if you get the machine.) If I'm around, I'll even answer the phone on weekends.

You should be aware at the outset that FABO members keep me extremely busy and my turnaround time can be rather long, especially if most of what's here is custom work or trim restoration. In fact, I've had 15 or more jobs here at any given time now for over four years (and it's usually closer to 25) ... so if you're in a hurry or have a show pending I can sometimes accommodate rushes, but it always depends on what's here when your parts arrive as to how quickly they can be finished and returned to you. I do keep a calendar with all my boys' due dates and, so far anyway, haven't missed a deadline yet. :-D

Thanks for taking a few moments to read this! If Sox could be here, he'd say mrrrowwwwwwwwwwrrrr in thanks too. :-D Don't hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions or want to discuss details. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business and look forward to working with you. You won't be disappointed -- I guarantee it. :-D
