Tin, the truck pump should have the same bolt pattern, so it should work if the resevoir (sp) doesnt hit. Also the truck is a 7 rib pulley, car pumps (all pulley's) are 6 rib.
I decided to go ahead with the PS upgrade to my dart. I purchased a AGR power rack from Bill at RMS, and I just received a Jeep SRT8 pump.
Is that idler home made? If not, where did you find it, looking to pick one up. Thanks
If I remember right, Bouchillon was also selling a fitting to reduce the pressure on the pump so as to not blow the rack seals.
FYI, my 6.1 out of a Charger had the reservoir mounted on the pump.
Tin.....did you have to use a different belt with the PS delete pulley? I had to space my AC compressor out to get better clearance on the headers, and the stock belt is tighter'n a Nun's......well, you know! I still have the factory PS pump on my motor, but have to get a delete pulley because I'm not running PS. I noticed the pulley on the delete kit in your pic is smaller than a stock PS pump pulley, so maybe my 6K mile belt will live to die another day...lol.
i understand but what i needed to know is if anyone has ever used a car reservoir on a truck pump and mounted it remotely that is what he wants to do since he already has the truck pump but dosent have enought room under the hood for the large reservoir but thanks for your help

I have some info to share on the power steering front. The Jeep SRT8 pump puts out 1600psi ( I had mine tested) the power rack cannot handle more than 1100psi. So, that being said, there are only two options, find another pump, or install a pressure reducing valve like the one below. ( $90 for the valve + Fittings ). The place I sent mine to, (AGR) to have the pressure turned down, said there is nothing they can do with it, it is a different type of pump. I'm feeling the Mopar love again........
